Wine zone: grapes from vineyards in the province of Asolo – (Tv)
Production: Red wine vinification, maceration of 12-14 days at a controlled temperature to extract the colored pigment found within the grape skins. After fermentation, the wine is put in new barrels to mature for at least six month before bottling.
Alcohol content: 13% vol
Residual sugars: inferior to 2,7 gr/l
Color: Deep ruby red
Aroma: Strong notes of red berries including cherry, black cherry, and raspberry accompanied by notes of spices and of vanilla. In older bottles, aging creates hints of leather.
Flavor: Balanced acidity, harmonious and persistent, with a good structure and long and dry finish.
Classic pairings: Best accompanied with meat-based pastas, red meat, pork, veal, cold cuts, mushrooms, and aged cheeses.
